Arctic Monkeys at Ventura update: The show is completely sold out. If you’re still planning on winging it, the venue just posted this notice that there will be no tickets available throughout the show, even if someone leaves. [photo: obsessee]

AND SO IT BEGINS…
The long wait is over, folks. Today marks the beginning of the new era as the band goes back on stage at their premiere AM5 show in Ventura, California.
Like last time, watch this space (and AMUS) for news on the new album, bootlegs of new music, fan encounters/stories, and gig coverages.
For easier browsing, I’ll be tagging posts for this era accordingly (or check the blog’s updated sidebar):
- AM5 news & announcements
- AM5 tour scrapbook (all posts on the new tour)
- AM5 gig coverages
Since we’re one big family here, feel free to submit content — photos, setlists, bootlegs, et cetera from the gigs you’re going to. (If you’re on Instagram, maybe tag your gig photos with #AM5 for easier tracking?) Every bit helps to keep everyone as updated as possible. (Also, follow ArcticMonkeysUS on Twitter for quick updates!)
Exciting times are ahead: new era, new music, new setlist, new look, new everything. I can’t be any more thrilled. No sleep
